Vacation of Right-of-Way Public Notice NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 21, 2026 @ 8:30 am or shortly thereafter in Okaloosa County Administration Building, 1250 Eglin Parkway N, Shalimar, FL 32579, a public hearing will be held before the Board of County Commissioners of Okaloosa County, Florida, at the request of William Banaszak, to consider a resolution to vacate that portion of the east-west platted right-of-way lying between Block 66 & Block 80 of Valparaiso Reality Co., Pinecrest Add., Sheet No. 3, Subd. No. 6, in Plat Book 1, Page 50, of the Public Records of Okaloosa County, FL., being platted right-of-way and more specifically described as: That portion of the platted 15th Street right-of-way lying between Block 66 and Block 80, as recorded in Valparaiso Reality Co., Pinecrest Add., Sheet No. 3, Subd. No. 6, Plat Book 1, Page 50, being more particularly described as follows: The unopened portion of the platted 15th Street lying North of and adjacent to Lot 26, Block 80 and lying South of and adjacent to Lots 7, 8 and 9, Block 66, Less and Except the South 5 foot of the North 25 foot according to the Plat of Valparaiso Reality Co., Pinecrest Add., Sheet No. 3, Subd. No. 6, in Plat Book 1, Page 50, of the Public Records of Okaloosa County, FL. If a person decides to appeal any decision made with respect to any matter considered at such meeting, such person will need a record of the proceeding and, for such purposes, such person may need to insure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
