Village of Hewitt Request for Bids: 2026 Chip Seal Various Streets VILLAGE OF HEWITT Request for Bids: 2026 Chip Seal Various Streets The Village of Hewitt, Wood County, is accepting sealed bids on the following project: approximately 13,285 square yards of Chip Seal on the following streets: Butternut Street, Cedar Street, Allen Street, Apple Lane, McLean Drive, McLean Drive Aprons, Maple Street, W 2nd Street, and Kaylee Court. Maps and internal calculations will be provided upon request to Mike Draxler, Village of Hewitt Street Commissioner, 57hearse@gmail.com Bid is to include the following: Aggregate is to be one quarter inch black or near black chip. Emulsion is to be suitable for residential streets with minor traffic. Bid is to include sweeping of excess aggregate. Contractor will be responsible for prior notification to residents and for all necessary traffic control. The opening of bids will be on April 8, 2026, 7:00 PM at the Village of Hewitt Board meeting (11064 Main Street, Hewitt). The Village reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids presented.
