Liquidated damages will be assessed at $500 for each consecutive calendar day for which the work is not substantially complete and $500 for each consecutive calendar day beginning the 46th day after the date of Substantial Completion for which all of the work listed on the punch list is not complete. A PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at Rosedale Village Town Hall, 76535 Rosedale Rd, Rosedale, LA 70772, on March 31, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The apparent low bidder must complete and deliver to Bradford Engineering and Services, LLC at the address stated above within ten (10) calendar days after the date of the opening of the Bids the sworn affidavit required to comply with La. R.S. 38:2212.10 regarding an employee status verification system, the signed no conviction affidavit required by La. R.S. 38:2227, the non-collusion affidavit required by La. R. S. 38:2224, and other required documents as specified in the Bidding Documents. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after the date of the bid opening except as provided by law. Bidders must meet the requirements of the State of Louisiana Contractor's Licensing Law, R. S. 37:2151 et seq. The Village of Rosedale reserves the right to award the project on whatever basis is in the interest of the Owner and to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities.
