Village of Weston - 2026 GSB-88, Gilsonite or Ravel Seal Pavement Maintenance Project ADVERTISMENT FOR BIDS Village of Weston Marathon County, Wisconsin 2026 GSB-88, Gilsonite or Ravel Seal Emulsified Sealer/Binder Pavement Maintenance Project OWNER: The Village of Weston, Marathon County, Wisconsin hereby gives notice that sealed bids will be received at the Weston Municipal Center at 4747 Camp Phillips Rd. Weston, WI 54476, not later than 1:05 p.m. local time on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following project in the Village of Weston. PROJECT: 2026 GSB-88, Gilsonite Preservation Seal or Ravel Seal Emulsified Sealer – Pavement Maintenance Project DOCUMENTS: Contract Documents are on file and may be examined at the Weston Municipal Center. Complete sets of Contract Documents may be obtained by contacting Isaac Dolan, Staff Engineer, at (715) 241-2634 or via email at idolan@westonwi.gov or online at www.westonwi.gov under bid postings. BIDDERS PRE-QUALIFICATIONS: Pre-qualification statement forms for this project must be submitted to the Village of Weston, 4747 Camp Phillips Rd. Weston Wis. 54476 by 4 p.m. local time Thursday, April 2nd, 2026. These forms must show sufficient financial ability, equipment, and experience to properly perform the Contract in accordance with Section 66.0901(2) Wisconsin Statutes. The Village of Weston's decision as to the qualifications shall be final. BID GUARANTEE: Proposals shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the Bidder's maximum bid price, payable to the Village of Weston as a guarantee that the bidder, if the bid is accepted, will execute and file the proposed contract and bonds within 15 days of the award of the contract. The certified check is returnable to the bidder immediately after signing the contract, and acceptance by the Village of Weston of the bonds. A Performance Bond, and also a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, in the amount of 100% of the total bid price, together with the executed contract in the form prescribed by the Village of Weston will be required by the successful bidder. BID REJECTION: The Village of Weston reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Owner. The Village of Weston also reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bidding. Bids shall remain acceptable for a period of ninety (90) days.
