WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP LAND USE BOARD
NOTICE OF HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that an application filed by the Washington Township Municipal Utilities Authority (the "Applicant") will be heard before the Washington Township, Morris County, Land Use Board, regarding property located on Spring Lane and designated as Block 20.10, Lot 1.02, on the Washington Township tax map and located in the R-1/R-2 Zone.
The Applicant has applied for Preliminary and Final Site Plan approval to demolish the existing SM-10 well house building and to construct a new building that will house a new PFAS treatment removal system, well piping, and chemical treatment storage tanks. The Applicant further requests such variances, waivers, permits, approvals or licenses that may be required or deemed necessary and appropriate by the Board, upon analysis and testimony regarding the plans at the public hearing.
A public hearing on this application is on the Land Use Board's calendar for June 3, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. and will be held at 43 Schooley's Mountain Road, Long Valley, New Jersey 07853, at which time all persons affected by this application will be heard.
When the case is called, you may appear either in person or by attorney to present any evidence, ask questions, or make any comments that you may have regarding the application. The matter will be heard on the above date or any adjourned date designated by the Land Use Board at this public meeting without additional notice.
The application documents, including reports, drawings and plans, for which the above approval is being sought are on file with the Land Use Board Administrator and are available for inspection at the Municipal Building during normal business hours.
