WEYMOUTH TOWNSHIP NOTICE OF PENDING BOND ORDINANCE AND SUMMARY The Bond Ordinance, the summary terms of which are included herein, was introduced and passed upon first reading at a meeting of the governing body of the Township of Weymouth, in the County of Atlantic, State of New Jersey, held on September 17, 2025, at the Weymouth Township Municipal Building. It will be further considered for final passage, after public hearing thereon, at a meeting of the governing body to be held on October 1, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at the Weymouth Township Municipal Building. During the week prior to and up to and including the date of such meeting, copies of the full ordinance will be available at no cost and during regular business hours, at the Clerk's office located in the Municipal Building, 45 South New Jersey Avenue, Dorothy, New Jersey for the members of the general public who shall request the same. The summary of the terms of such Bond Ordinance follows: Title: "BOND ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($500,000) AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF UP TO FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($500,000) IN BONDS OR NOTES OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEYMOUTH FOR THE PAYMENT OF CERTAIN SOFT COSTS AND EXPENSES RELATED TO THE REPLACEMENT OF LEAD SERVICE WATER LINES AND CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS TO THE SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM, WHICH PROJECTS WILL BE UNDERTAKEN BY THE WEYMOUTH TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL UTILITIES AUTHORITY" Purpose: To advance funds to pay certain soft costs and expenses to be incurred by the Weymouth Township Municipal Utilities Authority ("WTMUA") in connection with the planning, development and financing of the WTMUA's lead water service pipe replacement project and capital improvements to their existing sanitary sewer line system, such advances to be repaid to the Township by WTMUA pursuant to an agreement between the Township and the WTMUA.
