PUBLIC NOTICE – REQUEST FOR BIDS
COMMERCIAL INDUSTRIAL BUILDERS, INC. (CMAR)
WEST TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY – NANCE RANCH
AGRICULTURE EDUCATION BUILDING
Commercial Industrial Builders (CIB), acting as Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), is requesting sealed bids from qualified Sub-Contractors and Suppliers for the construction of the Agriculture Education Building located at West Texas A&M University, Nance Ranch, Randall County, Texas.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project is partially funded through U.S. Department of Agriculture Grants. Work includes construction of a conventional slab-on-grade, structural steel/metal free-standing building, including:
Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Systems Fire Suppression System, Well and Septic System, Site Improvements and Enhancements
FEDERAL REQUIREMENTS
This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) under Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), Pub. L. 117-58.
Compliance requires that all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials incorporated into the project must be produced in the United States, unless an approved waiver is in place. A Build America, Buy America Certificate of Certification Letter must be submitted with each bid.
This bid also requires full compliance with Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage Guidelines.
