Wantage Township Land Use Board Notice of Public Hearing WANTAGE TOWNSHIP LAND USE BOARD NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TAKE NOTICE that the undersigned has applied to the Wantage Township Land Use Board for Minor Subdivision approval to create one new residential lot for property known and referred to as Block 45, Lot 16.01 on the Wantage Township Tax Map with the property street address being 47 New York Avenue. The Property is in the R-2 and RE-5 residential zone districts. The existing property is 28.164 acres in size. The proposed Lot 16.03 will be 6.995 Acres and the remainder Lot 16.01 will be 21.169 Acres. Variances for lot widths of 50 feet for both lots are requested where a lot width of 125 feet is required for each lot. Variances are also required for three existing accessory sheds located in the front yard of proposed Lot 16.03, and a variance is requested for a proposed barn to be located in the front yard of remainder Lot 16.01. The applicant is also seeking a variance to use a common driveway to access both lots and to construct the common driveway at a width of 12 feet rather than a width of 20 feet required by the ordinance. Applicant is also requesting relief for such other waivers, variances, approvals, or other relief as may be necessary for the subdivision. A public hearing has been scheduled for June 16, 2026 at 7:00 P.M. at the Wantage Township Municipal Building, 888 State Highway 23, Wantage Township, NJ 07461. At the time of the hearing or at any adjourned date thereof, you may appear either in person, or represented by an attorney and present objections or comments, if any, which you may have concerning the application. The Application, together with all maps, plans and other documents supporting the application, are on file and may be reviewed at the Wantage Township Municipal Building, 888 State Highway 23, Wantage Township, NJ 07461 Monday through Friday 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
