Bids will be opened publicly at the Park & Forestry office immediately after the due date and time. The project scope includes: Site preparation, masonry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical & finishes. Construction of the new Dexter Park Campground Pavilion: new masonry walls, slab on grade, bathrooms, kitchen, exterior seating area, installation of plumbing fixtures, interior finishes, lighting, electrical outlets, exterior doors, roofing, fascia & soffit. Completion date for the work at this building is September 15th, 2026A mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held at 8220 WI-54, Pittsville, WI 54466 and Wood County, 6411 South Park Rd, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494 on March 13th, 2026 General Construction Bids will be received as follows: Excavation/Concrete/MasonryCarpentryPlumbingElectrical Plans, specifications, and other bidding documents may be obtained from the architect's office. Bid documents will be available March 2nd, 2026 Architect: arc central llc 1408 Strongs Ave, Suite 102 Stevens Point, WI 54481 bcarrigan@arccentralllc.com Plans, specifications, and other bidding documents shall be obtained electronically from the architect. There is not a fee to obtain the documents electronically. The bidder must inform the architect if drawings are acquired electronically to ensure inclusion in bidders list and distribution of additional contract documents including addendums. Bidder's that acquire documents electronically without informing the architect in writing will not be allowed to submit a bid. No proposal shall be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and a performance and payment bond in the amount of the contract price within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the owner as liquidated damages. Prequalification of bidders will not be required. Bidders to whom award of a contract is under consideration may be asked to submit to the Architect, a properly executed AIA Document A305 Contactor's Qualification Statement. See attached Instructions to Bidders for more information. No Bid proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (30) days after the bid opening without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive irregularities in the bids received and to accept any proposal which they deem most favorable to the interests of the Owner. Selected Bidders agree to sign all necessary contracts, and provide performance bond for 100% of awarded bid amount, within 15 days of award notification. END OF SECTION 00020
