LEGAL NOTICE
TAKE NOTICE THAT Yiren Xu and Wen Jun Lu have appealed to the Board of Adjustment of the Township of Berkeley Heights for a variance from the provisions of Article 6.1, Section 6.1.1B, of the Zoning Ordinance so as to permit the construction of a new portico over an existing masonry front door landing. A variance is required for insufficient front-yard setback.
This project pertains to the premises located at 280 Killarney Drive, also known as Block 4401, Lot 9, on the Berkeley Heights Tax Map, which is within 200 feet of property owned by you.
The applicant requests any and all such other variances, design waivers, site plan exceptions and/or other relief from the Board of Adjustment as may be deemed necessary or required at the time of the hearing of this matter.
This appeal is now on the Secretary's calendar, and a public hearing has been ordered for Thursday evening, January 22, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. prevailing time, in the public meeting room of the Municipal Building (Room 155, the "Berkeley Room"), 29 Park Avenue, Berkeley Heights, NJ at which time you may appear either in person or by attorney and present any objection which you may have to the granting of this appeal.
Copies of said plans may be found in the office of the Board Secretary between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
