ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT Notice is hereby given that the Washington County Planning Commission will hold a public input meeting on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 6:00 pm in the Washington County Administrative Complex, 100 W Washington Street, Room 2000, Hagerstown, MD. The public meeting is for the purpose of considering the following text amendment: RZ-25-011 Applicant: Washington County Department of Planning and Zoning Ordinance: Washington County Zoning Ordinance Article19C - Sections 19C.2 and 19C.3 Topic: Proposed text amendment to allow light manufacturing uses to be principally permitted uses and for some heavy industrial uses to be special exception uses in the Special Economic District All parties in interest and citizens, either in support of or in opposition to, the proposed amendments shall have the opportunity to be heard at said place and time or by submitting written comments through e-mail at askplanning@washco-md.net or through regular postal service at 747 Northern Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
